1963 Taiyo, Coca-Cola Ford Galaxie 500XL in Original Box
Gorgeous commercial Coca-Cola version of Taiyo's, Ford Galaxie 500XL 4 door hardtop auto in unusual near mint condition. Friction powered, all tin litho and appears to have never been played with. Comes complete with original die-cut window box. Refresh with Zest, several Coke logos and a large bottle of Coca-Cola lithoed onto the roof are the hallmarks of this scarce Ford Galaxie hardtop. All original and without any repairs it features all tin litho flat embossed interior, chrome front and rear bumpers (each with Ford plates), chrome wheel covers and windshield frame. The chassis is solid black plate. It also has its original celluloid windshield and solid rubber tires. Taiyo produced six version of this car for their Sedan Series. The other five are police car, fire chief car, taxi, Pan Am Shuttle car, and No. 5 Racing Stock Car. However, the Coke version is the most difficult of the six to find, especially in high grade.
